Malik announces Sitara-e-Shujaat for Malala

SWAT: Interior Minister Rehman Malik has announced that Malala Yousafzai will be awarded the Sitara-e-Shujaat. Malik was in Swat where he visited Kianat one of the two girls injured alongside Malala. The Interior Minister announced compensation for both Kianat and Shazia. Malik said that the government would pay for Kianat’s medical school and her brother had been given employment in the passport office Swat.
