India will play Pakistan in the semifinals on December 20.

Pakistan women team strolled into semi-final when they routed Afghanistan by 3-0 in the second Group-B match of first SAFF Women Football Championship at Cox’s Bazaar, Bangladesh on Tuesday.

Already assured of a place in the semifinals, Indian women's football team on Friday thrashed Bangladesh 6-0 to top the group and set up a last-four clash against Pakistan in the SAFFWomen's Championship in Cox Bazar, Bangladesh.

India will play Pakistan in the semifinals on December 20.

Pakistan women football team recorded their first ever victory in international circuit on 4th Feb 2010 when they beat Sri Lanka 3-0 in 11th South Asian Games at Bangladesh.

The FIFA Women’s World Rankings for football were introduced in March 2003, as a follow-on to the existing FIFA World Rankings for men.

In the year 1971, the first FIFA-recognized women's international between France and the Netherlands held.
